I sent a txt to a mate,
"Will they answer?" I had to wait.
Where are you mate? What have I done?
We usually hang out and have such fun.
These questions and more knocked at my door.
Whilst I pondered, it made me wonder.
Is this a friend in need or a friend indeed?
You feel down when there's no one around...
Then suddenly there's a call,
a true friend exists after all.
